The Handmaids Tale Season 4 is upon us! Where are they? It’s been ALMOST 2 years since Season 3 premiered so you might be a little foggy on where everyone is! Season 4 looks like it’s going to be just as crazy as Season 3 was! I can’t wait to see what crazy things June does.

 

The Handmaids Tale Season 4 is almost back! Woo. Woo. Season 3 premiered in June of 2019, almost 2 years ago. I needed a refresher of where everyone is after the craziness of season 3. June is ENEMY number 1 in Gilead after not getting on that airplane to go to Canada. Make sure you watch our full video for the low down on where everyone is!

The Season 4 trailer dropped and it looks like June and Janine will be on a rollercoaster ride for their lives this season! Super excited to see how these two will escape, survive, and bring down Gilead, but before that let’s take a trip down memory lane. Where is everyone?

June is of course still stuck in Gilead after getting all of those kids to Canada last season. Let’s remember that June does not want to leave Gilead without Hannah, who of course is going to be a huge bargaining chip in Season 4. June had to come to terms with her selfishness in Season 3 and realize that her fight could not just be limited to Hannah. After showdowns with Serena, Commander Winslow (A NOT RIP to him), as well a crazy DC Trip, some bonding with Aunt Lydia, and truth revealed about Nick, June plans to make Gilead pay and she does by releasing all of those children!

Onto the Waterford’s, where are they for The Handmaids Tale season 4? Serena, did a huge power play, FINALLY betraying Fred and trapping him in Canada. All of Season 3, Serena regrets letting June get Nicole out. Serena gives up Fred and makes a deal. Only to have Fred, be THE worst husband ever, once again, and betray her back. He lets the US guy know that Serena orchestrated June getting pregnant by Nick. Fred is the absolute WORST! He cut Serena out of the government, let her get her finger cut off, and now crosses her once again. If he ever loved her, he would have just taken defeat, instead if Fred Waterford goes down then Serena has to too.

For anyone who read the sequel to The Handmaids Tale, The Testaments, there is a lot of interesting information revealed about Aunt Lydia. Aunt Lydia, still retaining her power for Season 4, still in Gilead, still controlling the Handmaids, but who is she really? Her backstory and her Gilead puppet origins revealed. A former lawyer, turned teacher, bonds with a mother and son, and then betrays them when things in her life go wrong. The ultimate cruelty. She destroyed a families life because she got kind of rejected by a colleague. Aunt Lydia claims she wants to help people, but so far she does not show that quality!
