Our slave master is creating a zombie army of magical touched on The Nevers season 1, but she’s also the boss of our hero Mrs. True! Good and evil are one and the same. My episode 2 reaction.
Good and evil are one in the same with infinite power at stake in The Nevers season 1. Not only is Mrs. Bidlow protecting the magical Touched at her orphanage, she is stealing them off the street to conduct evil zombie experiments. Her army of enslaved and powerless Touched are mining the ultimate power, an alien orb that is central to gaining magic in a world without. You can never catch a lion who is hunting itself, leaving Mrs. True as the only person who can literally see the truth. Watch our full reaction video for every detail.
With everyone scared of the Touched, Mrs. Bidlow showcases them to the rich and powerful. Is she teasing a future slave auction? Perhaps she’s forming an army, yet zombies make for poor soldiers. Her brother can turn into a crow a la Game of Thrones and her “friends” need her protection from the bad guys she hired. Thankfully no one in The Nevers season has a clue about the alien magic, otherwise we’d already be in the end times.

You better start looking over your shoulder, because your neighbor may be touched. Have they been acting weird or exhibiting non-human super powers? Definitely “touched.” This is what will make The Nevers season 1 so much fun. Anyone in London can have abilities, or simply be a giant. Look carefully, because anyone may be touched.
