The top 5 Exercises for Beginners. It’s easier than you think to get started and create your own fitness plan. Part of our BuzzChomp fitness video series.
Starting to work out can be extremely intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. There are so many great workouts you can do at home. I’ve shown you a myriad of them, with a variety of exercises. I love creating my own circuits using simple exercises, but several stand out. These are my top 5 exercises for beginners.
My top 5 exercises for beginners are as follows: plank, leg extensions, punches, squat jumps, and jumping jacks. These are my favorite exercises which work every muscle in your body. You can do them in a circuit in this exact order as well. The home workout circuit will focus on core, legs, arms, legs, and then cardio. This makes it an ideal home workout!
The best way to approach these exercises is to build your foundation for each. Start out slow and make sure that you engage your full body. I always suggest just doing 10 reps of each exercise to begin with. It makes them extremely approachable.
For the plank, I suggest starting out with 30 seconds and building yourself up to one minute. Plank can be extremely confronting, but that is great! You will get so many benefits from doing plank. A ton of other exercises build themselves off of plank too.
We love Fitness and Health!
Each of these exercises for beginners are great on their own, and once you feel comfortable, you can build them into a circuit that will work your full body and work up a nice sweat!
