The Mandalorian Season 2 preview is here and the only way is upon us! Mando and baby Yoda are back to continue on their adventure and we can’t wait to see what season 2 has in store.

 

The Mandalorian season 2 is almost here and our preview dives into how this is truly the only way for Mando and baby Yoda. I’ve anxiously awaited the arrival of season 2 and thankfully Mando and baby Yoda are back! Woo! Make sure you check out our full The Mandalorian season 2 preview video!

Much like season 1, there isn’t too much info out there about The Mandalorian season 2. There is the storyline that season 1 ended with. Mando has to return baby Yoda to the Jedi’s and until he does baby Yoda is his. They go everywhere together and “it is the way.”

Moff Gideon will be the primary villain once again, but Mando does not know he survived the crash yet. My gut tells me that Cara and Karga will bring this knowledge to Mando and baby Yoda. That is how the four of them will reunite!

Season 1 had so many great guest stars and cameos and season 2 will be no different! Timothy Olyphant joined the cast as a sheriff who dons the Mandalorian armor. Rosario Dawson joins the cast as well as Sasha Banks, who is a female wrestler, and appears to be one of the Jedi. Watch my video for more info on guest stars!

A bummer of news is that Taika Waititi will not return to season 2. He’s no longer on the producer team and that means no resurrection for the droid IG-11. I hoped that he’d resurface in season 2, but no go!

Robert Rodriguez will direct one of the episodes of the Mandalorian season 2 so that should be super fun! From watching the two trailers, the tone, pace, and all around feel of season 2 aligns with season 1. I love that this show is a slow burn and I can’t to see where it progresses!
