We’re 10 weeks PP and it’s all about hiking with your baby! This is our fit mom journey.
I love hiking and my hubby and I hiked through most of my pregnancy. I honestly couldn’t wait to get back out there! We started hiking with our baby when she was a little under three weeks. It was so great.
The key to hiking with your baby is to get a really good baby carrier. We have been using the LilleBaby All Seasons carrier. We can have this carrier for the life of us wearing our baby. That is great!
Wearing your baby is like wearing a dumbbell while you hike. You’re carrying extra weight and that will add to the workout you’re getting. That’s awesome and as your baby grows you’ll be carrying more weight.
When you’re baby is this young she’s probably just going to sleep which is great. You’re getting out of the house either by yourself or with your partner. All of you are getting fresh air and you really get to clear your head and do something for you. I know this made me feel like myself again and I love it!
I’ll definitely be continuing hiking with my baby. I am excited for her to be awake for it and to be able to participate but for now I’ll continue with my sleeping baby.
