Even though you’re in the home stretch of this pregnancy there are still so many changes happening. This is the time when you’re baby really comes into his or her self. They’ll be growing like crazy, hair, finger nails, and being able to open and close their eyes. They’ll also go from about 2 lbs to potentially 8 pounds. That is a lot of growth in your belly.

Since your baby grows so much in the next few months that means your belly will really pop. Be aware of stretch marks and cesarean lines. I have been using bio oil, which I love since my first trimester. I rub it on in the morning and evening to help with preventing stretch marks. I did this with my first pregnancy and didn’t get any. I did get a cesarean line, but it went away after almost a year.
If you’re going to have a baby shower now is the time to figure that out. I had two with my first pregnancy and I don’t think I’ll have one this time around unless someone throws one for me. A lot of people will have a sprinkle second time around, but since I’m so far away from my family I’m just going to go with it. I highly recommend having one on the earlier side in case you deliver early, but also so you know any essential items you need.
Just know that you’ll be super tired during your third trimester. I remember being so tired the first time around and if this is your second like me then you have a little human running around and wanting your attention. That being said make sure you sleep as much as you can. It’ll definitely get more uncomfortable the closer you get, but take your moments to rest up!
There are so many things happening in your third trimester. Manager and prepare for your third trimester expectations. It’s such a fun time, but it can also weigh on you. Your baby will be here before you know it! Share with me anything you experienced in your third trimester.
