The Mandalorian Season 3 Ep 3 is all about the Evil Empire brewing. This definitely a bit like two episodes mashed together. First we see Mando, Grogu, and Bo Katan return from Mandalore. It’s definitely a satisfying conclusion to this threesomes first quest, but then we don’t see them for the rest of the episode.

We’re reintroduced to Dr. Pershing. The Dr. who wanted to study Grogu’s blood and the possibility of cloning him. He’s now a refuge and in a reassimilation program. It is there he meets Elia, who was the communications officer on Moff Gideon’s ship. They form a peculiar friendship.

We see their defiance to the rules as well as Elia convincing Dr. Pershing to see continue his research. Even after they know that they do not want him to. Of course, she betrays him and now Dr. Pershing’s brain is fried!
