The downfall is a painful journey that never ends, yet not everyone on The Deuce season 3 will succumb to their demons. We witnessed the downfall of every character in episode 5, with a glimpse at how they’ll overcome or be consumed. If this show is truly a slice of life, then these lives will simply go on when the show concludes and each demon will continue to plague its host.
Lori has no self confidence or inner strength. Vince has become everything he once hated. Candy and Bobby are both plagued by wild sons. Paul faced his demons head on and already came out the other side with a fresh light on life. The Deuce season 3 took revenge, then spit it out.
