Easy HIIT Workout at Home | 5 minute Fitness | BuzzChomp Fit Mom

Easy HIIT Workout at home and it’s only 5 minutes! No excuses to not get your fitness on! It’s part of our BuzzChomp fit mom journey!

 

The one thing I’ve learned since having my babe is that I definitely need to maximize my time, but I still have time to workout. I got really into HIIT a few years ago when I did a 30 day HIIT challenge. It was intense and I loved it! HIIT tests your endurance and it tests you mentally. This easy HIIT workout is great to be done at home and it starts at only five minutes.


The best part about this easy HIIT workout at home is that it’s only two exercises. I combine jump squats and burpees into this circuit and its separated into minutes so you can easily remember the flow. Your first minute is 20 seconds jump squats, 10 seconds rest, 20 seconds jump squats, 10 seconds rest. Then minute two is 20 seconds burpees, 10 seconds rest, 20 seconds burpees, and 10 seconds rest. Minute three is the same as one and minute four is the same as minute two. Minute five has 30 seconds of jump squats and 30 seconds burpees.

That is the entire easy HIIT workout at home and its a great way to get into interval training. Set a goal for this 5 minute fitness series and ultimately push yourself to do 10 minutes. To make this easy HIIT workout at home into 10 minutes, just repeat the 5 minute fitness circuit. It’s that simple!

The best part about this HIIT workout is that you truly can do it anywhere and you can also change the exercises. You get a cardio workout as well as a strength training workout at the same time.
