This is an unforgettable Olive Tapenade that’s easy and delicious. My recipe is one of those that I really don’t need anymore, because I’ve made it so many times! Olive tapenade is my favorite dip.

 

You’ll love my easy and delicious olive tapenade recipe! This is my favorite dip because I love olives oh so much. While making olive tapenade is easy, I have been guilty of buying it. To be fair, there is a delicious tapenade made by Trader Joe’s, but this one is even better! Double the recipe if you don’t want it all gone in one sitting.

 

I love to use two different kinds of olives in my tapenade. My first choice are of course Kalamata olives, and then I prefer jarred green olives. They work great together, but try mixing and matching your olives for slightly different flavors. I also added artichokes and mixed in some Parmesan cheese. The cheese was added because I wanted my kids to get excited about the dip. Needless to say, it worked and they love it! Its absolutely delicious.

You can really make this recipe your own. Start by mix and matching different olives. If you’re not an artichoke fan, then you don’t have to add them in. Use all Kalamata olives if you prefer. I personally enjoy adding different things to a dip so it has my own flare.

Recipe Details for Olive Tapenade:

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yields: 10-12 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 jar Kalamata olives
  • 1 jar green olives
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup artichoke hearts
  • 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese

Preparation:

  1. Add all of your olives, garlic, artichokes, and olive oil into your food processor. Pulse until there are no large chunks of olives, just small bits.
  2. Add in your Parmesan cheese and pulse a few more times.
  3. Transfer your tapenade to a bowl and serve with chips, crackers, or bruschetta.
