Blueberry Crisp is a Sinful Holiday Treat

blueberry crisp

My Blueberry Crisp is sinfully simple and the quintessential holiday treat! I love it hot with ice cream, or cold with coffee. Its so delicious and amazing!

Fresh fruits make for the best holiday treats, especially juicy and sweet berries. My blueberry crisp takes mouthwatering blueberries and bakes them into a sinfully delicious dessert. Pies and cookies get all the fanfare during the holidays, but when it comes to easy and quick dessert recipes, nothing beats a Blueberry Crisp. Mix and bake and enjoy!

Traditionally one would serve this Blueberry Crisp hot from the oven, but its actually a versatile dessert. Scooping ice cream and whipped topping on your hot crisp certainly defines my idea of happiness and deliciousness. Yet I was surprised how much I equally enjoyed having my leftover crisp served cold. It’s like two desserts in one!

Eat blueberry crisp hot with a spoon, or devour it cold with a fork. Because all of the sweetness comes from the blueberries and a little agave, this is actually a “healthier” dessert. Just don’t tell your kids and family members. Let them enjoy the perfect holiday treat, then share with us your pictures of those clean plates!
