Approachable Push Ups Challenge for all levels is worth your 30 days. It’s part of our BuzzChomp fitness series.
This is actually the second push ups challenge that I’ve done. The first one was your traditional push ups challenge ending with doing a large amount of push ups. I loved it, but challenges with just one exercise can definitely end up feeling monotonous. This approachable push ups challenge is by no means like that.
It’s why I’m giving this challenge a 9/10 because of it’s variety as well as its purpose. Every day is a different exercise but all of them strengthen your body for push ups. Some of them are a variation of push ups, use plank as their home base, as well as modifications to push ups. That is why this challenge is for all levels.
The pacing on this challenge is great too. A well paced challenge makes it or breaks it for me. By the final day of this push ups challenge, it’s 20 push ups. That’s right that is it on the final day, but after working all the major muscles that you need to do push ups I felt so strong doing these 20 push ups. The secret here is that the pacing helps you really work your form.
I’ve been working our arms here all month with these fitness videos and it’s a great time to implement that strength and try this approachable push ups challenge. It’s a challenge with a singular focus, but that focus will strengthen you in more ways than you can imagine. It’s not a challenge that substitutes as your daily workout routine like others we’ve done, but that’s not the point of it.
Besides working your form and strength for push ups, you will be introduced to some great exercises that you can add in to your workout routines. Push ups to side plank is great, hand release push ups are awesome, side plank hip touches, and many more. The variety truly is great.
