30 Day Core Challenge Review it is hard but worth it! Part of our BuzzChomp fitness video series.
This 30 day challenge I ranked a 9.5/10. It is not for the faint of heart and if you are new to fitness you will have to break up each exercises into sets especially since you’re working toward 60 push ups, 60 plank reaches, and a 60 second plank. The challenge starts off extremely approachable though and it really builds you up to the end.
There is no traditional rest day for this challenge. For your rest day you do 60 second plank and 10 plank reaches. This was a welcomed break from the push-ups and especially as the I got further into the challenge I loved the rest days!
If you workout frequently like Mandi and I do this challenge becomes approachable the longer you’re in it. I know Mandi was worried that she wouldn’t be able to do 60 push ups straight by the end of the challenge but she did! It goes to show you just how well this challenge prepares you for it. You basically add two push ups every day and that really is a great way to add the numbers.
For me I got a bit sick during the challenge and there was one or two days where I broke the challenge into sets. It was out of necessity and I’m so glad that I did it. There is totally no shame in breaking it up into sets. You’ll still get a great workout in!
This 30 Day Core Challenge is awesome. It pushes you physically and mentally. There were days I didn’t want to go on but I of course did! It’s hard but worth it and that’s why it’s getting such a high score from us over here at BuzzChomp!
