The 10 minute HIIT workout pyramid is confronting and wonderful. My full workout review gives it an 8.5/10. If you’re newer to working out this will be an intense workout, but that’s not bad a thing. That is a very good thing.
The HIIT workout pyramid starts with just 10 seconds of push-ups and ends with 100 seconds of plank. In between each exercise, which jumps up 10 seconds each time, is a 10 second rest. Trust me when I say you will need this 10 second rest.
This HIIT workout pyramid successfully gives you a full body workout. It’s also a no excuse workout and I love that. No excuse workouts is what Mandi and I have focused on here at BuzzChomp. We believe that there is no reason why you can’t workout where you go. As long as you have a mat or carpet you can do this workout.
I made one adjustment to this workout and that was doing crunches instead of sit ups. If I don’t do sit ups a certain way they scrape and rub my tail bone. In a timed circuit like this I find that I don’t have time to make those adjustments so I did crunches instead. Crunches will work you just as well. If you do them slow and really engage your core you’ll be able to work the top abs like sit ups do.
Otherwise all these exercises are extremely approachable. I’ve done them in many different other workout circuits. The great part about this HIIT workout pyramid is that the timed aspects really gives you a great cardio workout and the pacing of the exercises gives you a great full body workout.
