The next great Science Fiction revival must be “The Visitor.” A man abducted by aliens escapes back to earth 50 years later. He hasn’t aged and has abilities. Amazing!
Science fiction revival is all the rage, so how about bringing back a kick ass alien abduction show? The Visitor was a great series that was simply ahead of its time. Our lead escapes his alien captors after 50 years, has not aged and now has special abilities. He was captured in WW2 and escapes into the present day. Cue the chase music and the healing montages.
The Visitor got pulled after one season, probably because it was in the future itself. As one of the first shows to use web content and a dedicated website tie in, audiences simply were not ready for this in the late 90s. Web video wasn’t popular yet. So lets bring it back now! Another science fiction revival is due, this time with a woman stolen from present day and escaping into the future.
