Betrayal across the board in His Dark Materials season 2 finale. Marisa betrays Lyra, again. The prophesy betrays Jopari and the witches betray Will, while Mary betrays everyone, even our Eve. Were we the viewers betrayed as well? Asriel wouldn’t think so, but he’s starting a war so what does he know?
