No matter where you are at on your Fit Mom journey, this summer you need to beat the heat with our workout tips!
The worst thing you could do this summer is to stop working out. I get it that it’s hot at there but there are so many ways to modify your workouts. I love to run as you all know. Running midday in Los Angeles is not ideal. If that’s when you like to run well you’ve got to modify. Running, biking, and hiking is better done early in the morning or later in the evening.
Remember that you have to hydrate. This is one of the most important things you can do for your Fit Mom journey this summer. An awesome way to get yourself drinking more water is to get a gallon jug, fill it up before you leave your house, and drink that bad boy throughout the day! Staying hydrated will help your workouts so much.
Remember to modifying your workout help beat this summer heat. Running in the heat and humidity burns more calories and fat so if you have to scale back a bit there is no shame in that! You just want to keep up your workouts! You will thank yourself when the summer ends that you continued to workout! You’ll feel strong and amazing to finish out the year!
