The cardio and core workout is the ultimate combo. It’s centered around the great exercise high knees. You do 60 of them which is great amount because it is not too many. It will get your heart rate working. I highly recommend doing these bad boys a bit slower than you might normally do them. Don’t just rush to get the 60 done.
The other six exercises you do only 10 and these include climbers, climber taps, flutter kicks, scissor kicks, leg raises, and raised leg circles. The only exercise I had not done was climber taps and it’s definitely the hardest of the six. I loved that you had to really engage your core to connect your foot and your hand.
The cardio and core workout was perfectly paced and it gets an 8.5/10 from me! Not only is the flow of the circuit is perfectly paced and curated, but I love that they broke up each style exercises with high knees. It would slightly reset the workout, but also gave me that boost to push myself.
This cardio and core workout is another Darebee workout so that means you repeat it either 3, 5, or 7 times. I highly recommend to push yourself to do 5 sets and if you’re feeling motivated go for 7. It will truly make this workout much more intense and that is always a bonus for a at home workout.
You can do this workout anywhere which is great and you don’t need any equipment and that’s what makes an at home circuit extremely approachable. It what makes it easy for me to get up in the morning and do one of these workouts!
