A big miss for Pet Sematary: Bloodlines. I love the original Pet Sematary and had high hopes for this. This is a Jud origin story and while I like Jud, I just think there isn’t anything different about it. It’s just another run of the mill film capitalizes on an already established franchise.
A big miss for Pet Sematary: Bloodlines. I had high hopes for this, but it completely falls flat! This is a Jud origin story and while I like Jud, I just think there isn’t anything different about. It’s just another run of the mill film capitalizes on an already established franchise.
I think they should have done this film like Prey style. Prey is a prequel to Predator and it shows just how the predators continuously came to earth. In this film, they set up the backstory and we see the masks and all that, but they just dip their toes in to that. That would have been something different and interesting.
They truly made Jud a final girl in this film too. For majority of the movie he’s in tight jeans and a tank top showing off his bulging muscles. While he’s nice to look at, it doesn’t completely give us the same vibe as older Jud until the end of course when he’s sitting on that porch.

Pet Sematary: Bloodlines is a big miss for me. The actors are great, but the story is wasted. Share with me your thoughts? Make sure you check out my review.
