The Handmaid’s Tale season 3 ep 12 showed us just how bad ass June is! We have 5 reasons June’s a badass, plus a bonus. This episode June really shines. Our first reason June is a badass is that she got away with murder! In the beginning of this episode she doesn’t know that the Marthas disintegrate Commander Winslow’s body. She quickly finds out that no one knows where Commander Winslow is and that Serena and Fred have been captured.

Commander Lawrence even tells her she’s getting away with murder. This allows June to continue on with her plan of rescuing over 50 children from Gilead! This alone is so bad ass.
The second reason June is a bad ass is that Rita joins her cause. The Handmaid’s Tale Season 3 hasn’t shown Rita as much, but Rita has always been a huge supporter of June. She watched how she was treated by the Waterfords, but of course couldn’t do anything. She always has had a great bond with Rita and now Rita has nothing to lose. The Waterfords are gone and she knows she can help. I love Rita being inspired by how bad ass June is!
