Finally, there’s a grown-up beverage for people who don’t drink. Wine Water arrives just in time for summer with all the health benefits of wine, so your sober sister or brother can enjoy their own fun beverage!

The Israeli startup, O. Vine, is set to release the grape-infused water in the United States on June 30. It is unknown where this drink will be sold at this time.

This water has no alcoholic content, making it the perfect alternative for wine lovers that can’t — or don’t — drink alcohol. The sleek, modern bottle looks exactly like a refreshing summer rose, but without the fermentation.

The water still offers all the same health benefits wine does thanks to its use of grape skins and seeds. Resveratrol, a compound found in grape skin, can reportedly help improve one’s cardiovascular health.

“Our mission was to create a pure water sensation that not only inspires consumers to appreciate wine’s complex flavors and aromas but also leverages sustainable principles by reusing the skins and seeds from the wine grapes remaining from the winemaking process,” claimed Tal Leizer, CEO of Practical Innovation.

This unique drink is part of the growing “near-water” category. O. Vine also offers its wine water flavors in bubbly or still forms for the picky drinker. Each bottle holds a hearty 350 milliliters or 11.8 fluid ounces.

The new drink will be a perfect pairing for life on the water this summer. About 95% of Americans live only an hour’s drive from a body of water, and staying hydrated is key for the avid boater.

Wine Water is currently available in two light flavors: red and white. The red flavor is made from grapes that usually make Cabernet, Merlot, Syrah, and Petit Verdot while the white is made from Riesling and Gewürztraminer varieties.

“Drinking wine is pure pleasure, but not all consumers are able to indulge due to its alcohol content,” said Wine Water Ltd founder and CEO, Anat Levi. “O. Vine imparts the wine sensation and awakens the memory of drinking wine. The beverage delivers the health benefits of antioxidants — without the alcohol. Moreover, by upcycling the excess wine ingredients, the product is environmentally friendly.”

This is a great option for those with weakened immune systems, pregnant women, and those that simply choose not to drink alcohol.
