Bernard is with future Frankie, so how will the past connect so that he may save the world? There’s a missing puzzle piece to Westworld season 4.
How will the world be saved? Bernard is our hero, our savior. He knows of the secret weapon in the desert and he’s about to show it to the resistance. The woman who picks up him and Stubbs from the diner, that’s Frankie. We are in the future with Bernard. Is Dolores in the Sublime? With Frankie in the resistance, our “present day” is messy. Maeve and Caleb go beneath the new Westworld and then get captured by William. But the real question of Westworld season 4, how’s Bernard going to save the world? Just like in past seasons, he’s in a different time. Frankie is the bridge.
What happened to the theme park that was Westworld? It’s now big and better and literally everywhere. Are all of the androids out in the ‘real’ world, if its even real? With clones all over and evil Charlotte and more evil William unleashing mind control flies, who is actually in control of their own actions? It’s as if the entire world is a simulation, just like its always been.

At least Maeve and Caleb appear on the side of good and in control of themselves. Maeve has some serious super powers going on, but she still is learning how to use them. Dolores is lost, with only repressed memories of her past. She’s likely punishing herself in the Sublime. Bernard is our true hero, for now.
