One thing is abundantly clear in the Nevers season 1, being “touched” is a death sentence. Mrs. True exposes the evil plot to use her good name to lure touched into the death cult trap, then Miss Bidlow sends a water walking assassin to kill her! That fight scene with the dude walking on water was insane. Bonfire Annie finally joins team True, but only after Mary was murdered by Gatling Gun arm, another Miss Bidlow crony. Perhaps special powers are not so special, because a target is on everyone’s back. Dr. Horatio apparently works for the Beggar King and had an affair with Mrs. True, while Swann and Frank had a love affair of their own. You’d think these sexy secrets would be their undoing, but it appears quite the opposite in The Nevers season 1. The only thing saving you from death are your precious little secrets.
You better start looking over your shoulder, because your neighbor may be touched. Have they been acting weird or exhibiting non-human super powers? Definitely “touched.” This is what will make The Nevers season 1 so much fun. Anyone in London can have abilities, or simply be a giant. Look carefully, because anyone may be touched.
