Sick Horror Movie a fresh take on slashers. Slashers are such a classic horror movie. It’s a tried and true horror movie, but of course sometimes they get slate. Sick is a fresh take! It’s fast paced, gets right to it, and is all over in 83 minutes!

I love slashers and I’ll admit that I thoroughly enjoy some of the bad ones too. This new Kevin Williamson penned film Sick nails what it sets out to do. The pace is perfect! Horror movies should not be long because they truly should keep you on the edge of your seat. This one does that!

They set the pandemic world up, as well as how our stalked individuals act. It’s by no means unusual for none of these college kids to lock their doors. They also don’t always bat an eye when the door is left open. Besides embracing this one dumb trait, the film exceeds what normal slashers do.

This is definitely a fun movie. It does not reinvent the wheel, but it keeps you entertained. It knows what it is and embraces that. Definitely an homage to so many other horror films leaning heavily into Scream.
