I love workouts that you can do anywhere and I know I’ve stressed this as well as Mandi stresses it. This quick workout before bed is just that, with only four exercises, two rounds, which makes this workout so easy to do before bed. Sometimes I don’t want to do workouts like these because I won’t want to do anything before bed, but that’s exactly why I should do it! I’m always so glad when I do!
The breakdown of the workout is 40 second wall sit, 30 second plank, 20 crunches, and 10 squats. For the crunches and squats really do them slowly because I know with a quick workout like this I want to rush through it. Do not rush through it, by doing this slow you’ll really get the benefits of each workout.
You do the quick workout before bed only twice, but I say challenge yourself to work up to five times. Even five of this mini circuit will not be too intense or will not rev you up. I know some people think workouts later in the day can rev your body up, but a nice gentle workout like this will work your body just enough!
I love this quick workout before bed for days when I want to do a quick workout and that is why I give it an 8/10. It’s not always about the intensity when it comes to working out. I know for me it’s about the act of moving my body and staying consistent with my workouts. The quick workout before bed does just that!
This is also a great workout to use as a base and create your own workout with it. You can do more reps, up your numbers, and add a few different variations of each exercises! It’s also just a great workout as it! Try this quick workout before bed and let us know what you think!
