The West Wing Revisited S1E17 and it’s a lover’s quarrel. The President wants his staff to handle his wife when she speaks her mind on a political matter. Charlie and Zoe’s relationship becomes dangerous for both of them.
The West Wing S1E17 Reaction
First, Zoe and Charlie are still going strong. I’m definitely shipping this relationship. Zoe finds out they can’t go to an event because are death threats on Charlie. At first, Charlie is upset because he doesn’t live his life in fear. He doesn’t care if people don’t like she dating a black man. In the end Charlie understands and they have a movie night.

The main quarrel is between the President and his wife. The first lady says she approves of the man the President wants to appoint to the Federal Reserve. The problem is the President did not confirm this. So of course now, the President doesn’t want to look like he’s taking political advice from his wife.
Instead of the president telling his wife thing, he wants his staff to find out who said it and for the first lady to retract it. Of course the first lady doesn’t like that the President is “handling” her.
