Talk about a shocker! Complete revenge for Lyra in His Dark Materials as her power takes over and nothing is certain. Our Episode 6 reaction and more!

 

His Dark Materials totally surprised me in episode 6 by shooting the story forward at near warp speed. It was awesome! Instead of a long slog for Lyra to escape the prison where daemon experiments were happening, she totally got revenge on her mother and escaped! We even had the Gyptians attack with the witches aid and Lyra destroyed the machine. Marisa literally has nothing left except the hope that the Bears will hold Lord Asriel long enough for her to deliver him to the Magisterium. #Unlikely

There was a consistent pace to His Dark Materials, but that all changed. The season’s climax was a literal war of revenge and now we are moving full speed towards an unknown conclusion. Will Lyra jump between worlds with her father to end the season? Does Marisa hold any power within the Magisterium? Why are they truly scary? They can’t seem to stop anyone!
