Being fit is not a destination and that is because fitness is a lifestyle. This is truly a great mantra to embrace daily but it definitely takes some work to implement. I definitely have been guilty of letting go of reminding myself that fitness is a lifestyle.
For most of my adult life I’ve set fitness goals and constantly worked toward them and I thought that was a great way to be! What I noticed about myself though was that I constantly kept setting a variation of the goal. I didn’t always remind myself that fitness is a lifestyle and I let myself think fit is a destination.
It wasn’t until I completely embrace the fitness lifestyle change and this meant making my fitness journey apart of my daily life. It didn’t matter if I was busy, on vacation, or even not feeling well, I needed to keep in constant contact with my fitness journey. If it wasn’t getting a workout in then it is being honest with what I’m eating. That is how you live fitness is a lifestyle!
Because that’s what Motivational Monday is all about starting your week off strong.
