Fit Mom New Years mission. No goals this year, because we’re on a mission! It’s part of our BuzzChomp fitness series.


This year I’m not setting any goals. I’m on a New Years mission and that’s how it’s going to be. I want to work out as much as I can, to be as fit as I can be!

Looking back on 2017, I’m so happy with what I accomplished. I only took a month off from running after I had my baby. I worked out right up until my baby came and even with the many sleepless nights, I still got up and worked out more times than I can count.


In 2018 I will step my fitness back up! As you can imagine, time is precious when you have a baby. I can’t always give as much time to my fitness as I did in the past, so in 2018 I will get back to my long runs. In addition, I will get back to in-studio yoga classes. I miss taking that time for me.

Remember to be honest with yourself and what you’re working toward. Make sure that you’re realistic with yourself and hold yourself accountable. Make your fitness time your “you time.” It’s definitely part of my fit mom new years mission.
