Today we start our Fall Fitness Prep. Yes it’s still summer, meaning its easy to create a lasting workout schedule that you’ll love. Start at 50% and keep going!
Once September hits our lives get inundated with activities. But since its still summertime, we have the freedom to exercise whenever we want! Today we start our Fall Fitness prep. Today we create a workout schedule and routine that we carry straight through the holidays. After seven to ten days a routine is formed, and its hard to break a routine. Pick an exercise or two that you love, then follow my simple advice for Fall Fitness success.
Let’s assume that you aren’t currently exercising. That’s our baseline. Instead of doing the max possible, I recommend doing 50% of what your body can handle. That means picking two days a week, plus a bonus day, that you HAVE to exercise. Its a requirement on those two days to workout. Your bonus day is for fun, but must include fitness.
We Love This Treadmill! Go For It
Personally I’m choosing Tuesday and Thursday to exercise for 30 minutes. Mondays are hard, so let them go. Wednesday is your rest day in between your two workouts. Friday is for fun and either Saturday or Sunday is your bonus day. Create this routine. Workout every Tuesday and Thursday, with your weekend as a bonus day. Once the fall begins, you will already have your fitness in place. You will need to do the exercise you love on those two days. Your Fall Fitness Prep is complete!
