The Brute Leg Day workout is a must try. I will be honest, leg day was always my least favorite because I have bad knees. Workouts like this are a hard sell, not because I don’t see the value in them, but because I have to be super careful with my lower body. Fortunately, this circuit is approachable and lets you customize to fit.
For this Brute Leg Day workout, all you need is a set of dumbbells and you’re good to go. But you can definitely skip the dumbbells if you need to. I love that about this workout, because it’s so approachable.
There are two ways to do this circuit. You can do each exercise on its own, and then move on. For example, you do four sets of 10 squats, resting for 20 seconds between each set, then move to the next exercise. Or you can do each exercise back to back and create a circuit that lasts four rounds.
I’m rating the Brute Ultimate Leg Day workout a 7.5/10 and that’s really because while I enjoyed it, I still felt it was missing something in terms of being the best leg workout for me. It can be difficult to do a traditional leg day at home and this circuit shows you just how easy and approachable it actually is.
Be warned that you will feel this in your legs the next day, but you will be stronger because of this workout! If you’re looking to strengthen your legs, start with 5 to 10 lbs and enjoy!
