We’re drowning in the deep end of supernatural creepers, but thankfully the reality life raft is incoming. This is how the mystery must be solved, despite all the ghosts haunting True Detective Night Country.

 

The ghosts are creepy, but the imperiled humans are worse! True Detective Night Country is officially creeptastic, with decrepit creatures and crazy people stripping to their undies and strolling out into the freezing night. Reminder, its always night and its always full of spooks. We’ve officially hit our supernatural limit, as the show must now circle the drain and fall back into reality to solve the crime.

Thirty days of night have begun, meaning everything is spookier and there’s literally nothing around to explain away these deaths. We’re in the arctic and its too damn cold! True Detective Night Country wants us to believe the myths and legends and mystery, but something very real and simple must be to blame. If only we had a clue.

The mysteries of True Detective are very grounded, with real and explicit explanations. We just don’t get one until the very end! Will True Detective Night Country break the mold? Its unlikely, so expect the horrific plot twists to keep coming as one mystical explanation after another gets eliminated.
