The Handmaid’s Tale Season 3 Ep 4 Highlights are here. June’s recruiting and figuring out which women are with her to revolt in Gilead! This season is heating up.
These are your extreme highlights of The Handmaid’s Tale Season 3 Ep 4, with revolt on the mind. This episode slightly mirrors June and Luke’s baptism of Hannah prior to the fall of the US, since Gilead is now celebrating the birth of all the children from the past year. Its also a precursor to the inevitable end of the series.
A major moment for June is when Serena is not at the celebration. This is her chance to plant the seeds of revolt! Serena ultimately shows up to the after party at the Putnam’s. This is when we see the control June has over Fred and Serena. Girl is playing them!

June brokers a peace between Fred and Serena, making Fred promise to give Serena more power. June also plants the seed for Serena to recruit some of the other commanders’ wives. Its time for action.
We now know The Handmaid’s Tale Season 3 is just the tipping point, as June sees the dissent in all of the women of Gilead. Even the ones who don’t want to admit it, like her pious shopping partner. It’s definitely a defining moment for June and her quest to bring down Gilead.
We can’t forget about Aunt Lydia and her craziness! Last episode was all about how June was ‘useful,’ but is Aunt Lydia still of any use to anyone? Not one bit. My favorite part of the episode had nothing to do with Gilead. It was Emily reuniting with her family. FINALLY!
