We will KNOW once and for all if the Madden Curse is fact, or fiction. Saquon Barkley graces the cover of Madden 26 and Giants fans are praying he succumbs to the often inevitable curse. He’s been prone to injury and just put together back to back healthy seasons. Will Barkley be great once again, or cursed? This NFL season will be Mythbusters style with the Madden Curse.

I wouldn’t normally believe in something as ridiculous as a connection between appearing on the cover of a video game and then having something bad happen in your real life, yet here we are. The Madden Curse exists because too many NFL players have befallen bad years after appearing on the cover of this game specifically. With Barkley on Madden 26, we will know once and for all how true this is.
