So many lies, who can we trust on His Dark Materials? Lyra literally holds the truth in her hands, but it might not be enough to save her from her parents. Our Episode 7 reaction and more!

 

Lies were exposed on His Dark Materials episode 7 as Lyra foiled her mother once again and the Magisterium mobilized for a legitimate war against one of its likely allies. Lord Asriel was exposed as an untrustworthy liar that Lyra can’t help but follow. She took down the Bear king with her alethiometer, but has yet to use it for bigger questions that must be answered.

William is beginning to expose lies in his world, as Lord Boreal pushes his power to the limit. Will he unite with Lyra in a dramatic season finale cliffhanger? Will Marisa and Lord Asriel actually have a showdown to the death? I love the mysteries and lies of His Dark Materials and refuse to read the books, because this show is too much fun.
