This disaster is so beautiful you can’t look away and will never guess how it ends. Anora is a crazy and unique movie full of revealing surprises.

Anora is a beautiful disaster in all the right ways. This movie is full of bad choices and crazy decisions, but Anora is a fighter and always comes out on top. She goes by Ani and is a one crazy person, dealing with an even crazier situation of her own making. The ending is as perfect as I could imagine and the film is wild, imaginative, and unexpected. Anora deserves its accolades because its a disaster that’s stunning.

Ani is in fact a sex worker, but its the environment that guides her, not her defining trait. She capitalizes on every opportunity while seeming to want more from her life. Yet Ani is blind to reality and its obvious view of her life choices. She’s a crazy person with a fighter’s heart and this makes Anora a wildly entertaining film.

The one thing Anora did best was take a simple story that everyone knows and flip it upside down. Its unclear who to root for in this movie, because much like life, everyone is grey.
