Those About To Die Episode 1 show us it’s insane world. The first episode truly brings us into the gravitas of this Rome. It’s of course during the decline of the Roman Empire. Their is unrest in the streets, but one thing bands everyone together and that is the races.

Those About To Die Episode 1 Review

I enjoyed this episode and there are a lot of good things about it. The characters are interesting, some of the dialogue is a bit trite. There is a lot happening here, but I do think they’ve done a nice job keeping everything in its place.

Episode 1 is definitely a bit predictable with the blue faction winning. Tenax now owning a stake and definitely wanting to disrupt the system. He will now hold a huge card over the Emperor’s son, Domitian, now that he lost his big bet.
