Everyone got what they wanted, insane closure with a huge payoff. The White Lotus season 3 reminded us that simple can also be crazy and awesome.

The payoff was HUGE and multiple fatalities made every character come full circle. Some changed, others got their wishes in unexpected ways, but most left The White Lotus season 3 as they began. Self centered and selfish, but now with a sun tan. I knew it was NEVER about the monkeys, or some wild FBI conspiracy. It was one man, Rick, with an asinine grudge against another man, his not so surprising father. He refused to hear the truth and died for it. Oh well!

It all began so innocently. A movie star with disgruntled friends itching to settle a grudge. How about the weird man, Rick, with a new girlfriend and a massive debt, aiming to blackmail/murder the owner of The White Lotus itself. Or the doctoral student with a gay younger brother, creepy older brother, and parents in hot water of their own. Belinda is here. So is Greg, now known as Gary, but his presence is as esoteric as the monkeys. None of it will matter, because the fire fight and ultimate death are surely simple. It was and the payoff was still insane!
