Juliet & Romeo 2025 WAY Better Than The Hate

It’s not a great movie, but this re-telling has a unique ending and good singing. Juliet & Romeo 2025 is certainly not awful, so stop the hate.

Apparently nobody is allowed to change anything, because Juliet & Romeo 2025 makes small changes to the original iconic story and has gotten destroyed for it. This is unfair, because the film does many things well, like create a new version of the iconic story. Despite its flaws, the music is good and the ending is satisfying. Something is certainly lacking to make this a good movie, but its way better than how bad its being portrayed.

My main gripe with the film is that it should have more singing, because it touts itself as a musical. There are plenty of songs, but also long stretches without them. Juliet & Romeo assumes you know the original story, which is fine because we all do. Forget the hate. I applaud their efforts to add originality to a played out play.
