Eat
Trashed food dances through crowded tanning salons.
Unicorn bananas hold hands with clown Butterfingers.
Flying croissants speed by a cloud of cheers.
Diamonds look in and see a greener grass, a better world.
Orange party box stench dims their sparkle.
And so they dive into a frenzy of peace and blinding colors.
Exit the box, ask why, what if.
Note: I met drummer Brian Tichy (Whitesnake, Billy Idol, Foreigner, and Ozzy Osbourne) in Seattle and took the picture that I later used for this stencil.
“Eat” was sprayed in Venice, CA in 2007.
