Brats “Brat Pack” Documentary dazzles. It’s a raw story. It’s very much a retrospective on a time period that really doesn’t exist anymore. It also really was the first of its kind truly making it magical. I love how authentic the story is.

Brats “Brat Pack” Documentary dazzles. It’s a raw story. It’s an authentic look at how one event can shape your entire narrative. I like the perspective it put on this entire genre of films. That’s really what this group of people got “trapped” in is a film genre movement.

Brats “Brat Pack” Documentary Review

I saw some negative reviews of this film, but I think it’s honest. Everyone that Andrew McCarthy interviews reveals how none of them should have taken offense to it. They weren’t even truly friends, which is a bit sad.

My favorite parts of Brats “Brat Pack” documentary are when he interviews his fellow brat pack members. All of them basically say the same thing. It wasn’t a bad thing. Rob Lowe and Demi Moore even say how they were able to embrace the good of it and not let the negative press of it put up professional walls. Emilio Estevez basically ignored it’s existence.

It is nice to see Andrew McCarthy’s healing journey as he comes to terms with the label he used to hate. It really wasn’t all bad.
