Check out my delicious artichoke hummus recipe.
I looked at a lot of hummus labels while on my No Added Sugar 30 Day Challenge and I was shocked how many added sugar to them. Not cool. I got so frustrated while at the grocery store that I stopped looking and decided to just make my own hummus.
I originally found an excellent hummus recipe at Thanksgiving and everyone loved it. Its been tweaked slightly to remove the vegetable broth. The broth I liked has way too much sugar in it.

Directions:
Mash chickpeas in their own bowl using a fork. Mash those bad boys down and set them aside.
Put all the remaining ingredients into a food processor (or blender) and blend together.
Take your chickpeas and add them to the food processor until fully blended. I added a little hot sauce at the end.
Transfer to a serving bowl; top with a little more paprika and olive oil.
Place in the refrigerator for at least an hour prior to serving. If serving at a party, get some chips and chop up some fresh veggies.
Enjoy!
