We all know he wants to play, but Aaron Rodgers continues to play chicken instead. He has good options, although limited ones, so just choose already! There is no winner here.

What the heck is Aaron Rodgers doing? He’s playing chicken with the NFL and Pittsburgh Steelers in particular, because its obvious he doesn’t want to retire. Rodgers will get paid by the Jets this season, as long as he plays. He is a starter, no debate, and is aiming for a shot at a trophy. That is a particularly long shot, because neither Pittsburgh or Minnesota is significantly better with him, and both were behind to begin with. Aaron Rodgers is playing chicken. Not sure anyone wins.

The Steelers always make the playoffs, but go no further. Meanwhile, the Vikings greatly overachieved expectations last season and are now grooming their ‘rookie’ quarterback. Neither team is way better with Rodgers, nor are they close to being on par with the top dogs in each conference. So its either take the money, or retire. We all know what the decision will be.

Comment with your thoughts on the New York Jets and New York Giants. Will our suffering continue? Bud’s a pessimist, but will he once again be uncomfortably optimistic this season? Unlikely. Phil and Dan attempt optimism, but its so darn hard with these two football teams.
