If only our apocalypse cowboys Bill and Frank kept on fighting, but at least they had love until the end. The Last Of Us gets bad ass bunker style, then sentimental. Joel and Ellie are left to raid the compound, before heading off into the unknown.

 

Even the apocalypse has bright spots. Bill and Frank are true cowboys, turning an empty town into a glorious bunker safe haven. The Last Of Us provides a love story, together until the very end. Unfortunately Ellie never gets to meet them. She and Joel arrive too little too late, but still get to raid their weapons stash. On to the next adventure and likely some real action.

I don’t know the story behind The Last Of Us, having never played the video game, so don’t hate on me for trying to predict a future that’s already been determined. It’s Joel and Ellie versus the world, and it sucks that Tess won’t be sticking around for the entire adventure. So far very few weapons have been used and even fewer infected have been fought. A war is coming.

Will Joel make it across the country to his brother Tommy? What’s in Oregon for Ellie? How did Joel and Tess get together? Does any of this matter, since survival is hard enough? This show may never answer the hard questions, but we know the journey will be insane.
