The West Wing Revisited S1E11 and we’re experiencing true colors. The men of this show show the hypocrisy of how they treat CJ. They are all focused on saving Leo, but they don’t know if they can trust CJ when it comes to the brewing war.
BEWARE OF SPOILERS
The West Wing Revisited S1E11 is showing its true colors. Two things brew this episode, The expose on Leo and his past drug use as well as the Indian/Pakistan War. The biggest thing for me with this episode is the way they treat CJ. They do not tell her about the war because they’re not sure they can “trust her.”
The West Wing S1E11 Reaction

Throughout these 11 episodes of this show, CJ has shown herself to support the President and the other men on the staff. She’s truly the only other woman working with them, besides Mandy, who seems to be irrelevant really. CJ is the press secretary. She’s professional and seems to be doing a great job.

Toby makes the decision to not loop CJ in to the brewing war. This leaves her to tell the press when asked about it that it is a lie. She’s upset because once she finds out she knows the press will think the other staff doesn’t trust her to tell her major things. This is 100% true. How can she field questions, relay information, as well as withhold information if she’s not 100% trusted.
The men on the white house go to great lengths to protect Leo, who is a recovering drug addict and alcoholic. He had a serious problem and of course everyone deserves to recover and redeem themselves. I think they don’t 100% trust CJ because she’s a woman as well as her brewing relationship with Danny.
This episode is super interesting and definitely showed some flaws in this men. What are your thoughts on S1E11. Make sure you watch my reaction video.
