It was inevitable, but no less disappointing. There was no ending to The Handmaid’s Tale, just like the book, but we deserved one! Instead we got milk and cookies.
There was ZERO resolution, which is completely in line with the book and was totally expected because of ‘Testaments,’ but it still left me upset over The Handmaid’s Tale series finale. June keeps choosing one daughter over another and ultimately leaves them both behind.

The final episode of season 6 was a bittersweet swan song that didn’t need to be. Keep the fighting going or directly transition into the spinoff series, but don’t let everyone simply cry in one another’s arms and have June go write a book.
