The Handmaid’s Tale Season 6 Ep4 An Emotional Mess

the handmaid's tale

Forcing us to endure a love or war struggle is painful, because we ALL KNOW war is happening in The Handmaid’s Tale season 6. Gilead must fall.

Abandon one daughter to save another. Makes sense to me! June is a mess and so is The Handmaid’s Tale season 6. We know she is the rebel leader and we know Gilead will fall from grace, but get on with it. There’s no confusion on who will fight because ‘Testaments’ told us. Prolonging the inevitable is emotional torture.

June must become the downfall of Gilead, but to do so requires sacrifice and pain. She helps Serena to kick of The Handmaid’s Tale season 6, but this only ensures they will face off in the final battle for women’s rights. As the events leading up to ‘Testaments’ begin to materialize, all that’s left is June’s true revenge tour and ultimate disappearance.

There is no happy ending in store for anyone in The Handmaid’s Tale, so don’t kid yourself. Ultimately Holly AKA Nicole grows up without June and Hannah finally meets them both in another 15 years. Aunt Lydia must become a rebel and Gilead loses most all of its power. Something huge will happen this season. It is inevitable. Let me know what you thought, then check out my Ep4 reaction video.
