NFL 2025 Favorite To Win Super Bowl 60 in NFC

nfl 2025

There are the obvious picks with poor odds, and then we have two NFL 2025 favorites that everyone should see coming. Green Bay and Los Angeles are your picks to win Super Bowl 60.

The dust has settled on the 2024 NFL season, with Philadelphia crowned champion. We’ll have time to dissect the upcoming NFL 2025 season, mock the draft, discuss the new head coaches around the league, and parse out the quarterback carousel in the weeks to come.

Before all that, based on the early odds, who is your favorite to win next year?

Super Bowl 60 will take place in Levi’s Stadium, San Francisco’s home stadium. Can the 49ers get the oft coveted home-game Super Bow? Probably not, though they are one of the favorites. With the salary-cap crunch coming for that roster, we’d stay away. The Eagles enter as the easy favorite, though repeating is also unlikely. Philly is set up to find continued success, so the odds make sense.

As do the odds for Kansas City as the AFC favorite, followed ever so closely behind by Buffalo and Baltimore. These were the three best teams in the conference this past season, and all three bring back their MVP-caliber quarterback and elite head coach. Yet none of these “obvious” picks is the real NFL 2025 favorite. We’re eyeing Green Bay and Los Angeles.

Todd Salem:

With nothing much to go off of other than vibes, my early pick for NFL 2025 is none of those clubs noted above. Instead, I’m eyeing the Green Bay Packers at +2500

Green Bay was a darling entering the 2024 season and mostly lived up to the hype. They had some holes, but were a young squad on the rise. However, a team cannot be the young darling on the rise two years in a row. Everyone will likely be off of the Packers this coming season, but the outline still remains for a very good club.

They already have an elite head coach and the makings of a top-flight quarterback. Jordan Love has gains to make to officially reach that threshold, but he is still improving and has not yet entered his prime. As with every team, we will see changes throughout the rest of the roster. Green Bay is sneakily set up, though, despite playing in what was the best division in football in ’24.

Detroit lost both of its coordinators, and may find repeated success hard to come by. Minnesota saw Sam Darnold crash and burn when it mattered most, and enter the offseason with quarterback upheaval and uncertainty. Meanwhile, Green Bay slithers in with a third-place schedule despite going 11-6 and having the third-best point differential in the conference, and fifth-best in the entire NFL. This was a borderline elite team who should be better in 2025.

Dan Salem:

It’s certainly worth mentioning that not only were the Chiefs, Bills and Ravens the best three teams in the AFC last season, but they were also the three best teams the year prior… and the year before that. Barring the unforeseen, these will be the three best teams in the AFC once again. BUT none are winning Super Bowl 60 and they certainly aren’t your best bet or favorite.

We discussed what type of team build leads to championships and it’s clear that the AFC lacks something, while being flush with elite quarterbacks. Kansas City dominating must not be ignored, but they are dominating over teams built like them. I’m putting my money on the NFC for Super Bowl 60 and while the Packers are intriguing, I’m grabbing slightly better odds with the Los Angeles Rams +3000.

The Rams did very well this past season, despite having major holes on their roster. The NFC West is theirs to win once again, meaning the defense must elevate itself to be serious contenders. I believe it will and I also believe that if Stafford leaves, the Rams will replace him with an equal or better quarterback. There is no denying that Los Angeles is softly rebuilding, but they are once again doing so while being very good.

I love the makeup of the Rams and getting a veteran quarterback to win now, while positioning themselves for future success with draft capital, is working out before our eyes. Aaron Rodgers would thrive in Los Angeles, as would several other veteran passers. We are due for a wildcard team to make a deep run to a title, and this is the Rams’ year.
