It doesn’t matter who has come crawling back, because both the New York Jets and Kirk Cousins need one another. Time to embrace destiny.

We wanted him years ago, but now the New York Jets can get Kirk Cousins as the perfect bridge to their QB future. He had an excellent start to last season before getting hurt and giving way to the rookie looking over his shoulder. But Cousins wants to go out on a high note and play one more year for an up and coming contender. He’s the low maintenance, easy going guy that the Jets need. It is destiny.

It doesn’t feel like the year to draft a quarterback, and with the Jets’ track record they definitely should avoid doing so. Signing the opposite of Aaron Rodgers just makes sense, which is why Kirk Cousins is the guy for New York. The tea leaves have spoken.
