Cortana plus Master Chief equals Covenant destruction. It has to, unless all predictions are correct. Makee and her aliens win? Not in Halo season 2.

 

Humanity is giving up and the Covenant has already won. We all know that’s just the set up! Master Chief will re-insert Cortana into his brain and join with his Spartans to nearly stop the invasion. Makee’s arrival changes everything. Isn’t she an outcast of the Covenant? Where’s the halo? At least more fighting is on the horizon in Halo season 2.
